Joan Ernstmann was excited to join the STA school
family in 2007, her 25th year of teaching. Joan earned a Bachelor's Degree
from Winthrop University in Special Education with an emphasis in Learning
Disabilities. Since then, she has earned graduate hours in Early Childhood
Education from Newman and Friends Universities as well as WSU.
Joan and her husband, Brian, have two daughters, Hollyn attends Benedictine
College and Chelsea attends Bishop Carroll.
Joan enjoys scrapbooking, reading, cooking and gardening. Spending time with
extended family and friends is something she also enjoys.
